How Website Visit tasks work

1 views No ratings yet

Website Visit tasks are part of the Surf & Watch earning section on TaskPulse.

They allow advertisers to send freelancers to a website, landing page, blog post, product page, or another public web page for a required amount of time.

Website Visit tasks are verified automatically after the required timer is completed. They do not require manual advertiser review and do not require the TaskPulse Task Verifier extension.

What Website Visit tasks are for

Website Visit tasks are designed for advertisers who want real users to open and spend time on a web page.

They can be useful for:

  1. Website traffic
  2. Landing page exposure
  3. Blog article visits
  4. Product page visits
  5. General page visibility
  6. Testing how a page works for users from different locations

If your goal is video watching, social engagement, or custom manual work, you should choose a different campaign type.

How freelancers complete Website Visit tasks

Freelancers open the Surf & Watch section and choose an available Website Visit task.

After starting the task, the freelancer opens the advertiser's target page and must keep it open until the required timer finishes.

The task is completed only when TaskPulse confirms that the required visit time has been reached.

How verification works

Website Visit tasks use timer-based verification.

This means the freelancer must stay in the task flow long enough for TaskPulse to confirm the visit. If the page is closed too early, the task flow is interrupted, or the timer does not finish correctly, the task may not be paid.

The TaskPulse Task Verifier extension is not required for Website Visit tasks. The extension is needed only for Social Tasks.

When the reward is credited

The freelancer receives the reward after the Website Visit task is successfully completed and confirmed.

If the required timer is not completed, the reward is not credited.

TaskPulse pays only for valid completed actions, not for unfinished attempts.

What advertisers should know

Advertisers can create Website Visit campaigns from the Social and Surfing campaign creation page:

https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/new/

When creating a Website Visit campaign, make sure your target page is public, working, and suitable for visitors.

A good target page should:

  1. Open normally without errors
  2. Load reasonably fast
  3. Be available without special login or approval
  4. Not redirect users to unrelated content
  5. Not be blocked for most users or countries you target
  6. Match the campaign category you selected

What can cause Website Visit tasks to fail?

A Website Visit task may fail or stop delivering if the target page cannot be opened or the visit cannot be completed correctly.

Common reasons include:

  1. The website is down
  2. The page loads too slowly
  3. The page returns an error
  4. The page requires login before it can be viewed
  5. The page blocks visitors from selected countries
  6. The page redirects too many times
  7. The freelancer closes the page before the timer finishes
  8. The task flow is interrupted before completion

Website Visits are not the same as YouTube Views

Website Visit tasks are designed for regular web pages.

If you want people to watch a YouTube video, use the correct YouTube View category instead of placing a YouTube link into a Website Visit campaign.

A Website Visit confirms page exposure and timer completion. A YouTube View task is designed for video watching and may use video-specific verification logic.

Website Visits are not manual-review tasks

Website Visit tasks do not require freelancers to submit written proof to the advertiser.

If you need freelancers to follow custom instructions, complete a special action, and submit a report, create a Custom Task instead.

Custom Tasks are reviewed manually by the advertiser. Website Visit tasks are verified automatically through the Surf & Watch task flow.

Tips for advertisers

  1. Use a direct, public URL
  2. Check that the page works before launching the campaign
  3. Avoid login walls, broken redirects, or heavy pages that load slowly
  4. Choose Website Visits only when your goal is page traffic
  5. Use YouTube Views for YouTube videos
  6. Use Custom Tasks if you need manual proof or special instructions

Tips for freelancers

  1. Keep the page open until the timer finishes
  2. Do not close the task early
  3. Do not switch away if the task requires the page to remain active
  4. Wait for TaskPulse to confirm completion
  5. Do not expect payment if the timer was interrupted or unfinished
