How comment tasks work and why comments may be rejected

Comment tasks are Social Tasks where freelancers are asked to leave a comment on supported content.

These tasks may be available for different platforms depending on current advertiser campaigns. Like other Social Tasks, comment tasks require the TaskPulse Task Verifier browser extension.

Comment tasks are usually simple: open the target content, post the required comment if you are willing and able to do so, and let TaskPulse verify the result.

How comment tasks work

When you start a comment task, TaskPulse opens the target content where the comment should be posted.

The task may provide a specific comment text or instructions for what kind of comment should be posted. You need to follow the task flow and complete the action on the correct target.

After the comment is posted, TaskPulse attempts to verify that the required action was completed correctly.

You are not forced to publish a comment

Freelancers can decide whether they are comfortable publishing the comment provided by the system.

If the comment conflicts with your beliefs, values, personal boundaries, or the laws of your country, DO NOT PUBLISH IT.

In that case, simply skip or decline the task and choose another available task.

TaskPulse does not require you to post comments that you believe are inappropriate, unacceptable, or not allowed in your location.

Comments must be posted on the correct target

A comment task must be completed on the exact profile, post, video, page, or content opened through the TaskPulse task flow.

Verification may fail if you:

  1. Post the comment under the wrong post or page
  2. Comment on a different item from the same profile
  3. Manually change the target URL
  4. Use a different account or page than expected
  5. Close the task flow before verification finishes

Always use the target opened by TaskPulse and do not replace it with another URL.

What if comments are closed?

Sometimes advertisers create campaigns for content where comments are later closed, disabled, hidden, or limited by the social platform.

If comments are closed and you cannot publish the required comment, do not try to force the task. Skip or decline it and choose another available task.

TaskPulse automatically checks and cleans up tasks that can no longer be completed. After some time, tasks with unavailable comment sections may be removed by the automated cleanup system.

Why a comment task may fail verification

A comment task may fail if TaskPulse cannot confirm that the required comment was posted correctly.

Common reasons include:

  1. The comment was not posted
  2. The comment was not edited by freelancer before posting
  3. The comment was posted on the wrong target
  4. The comment section was closed or unavailable
  5. The target content was deleted, private, restricted, or blocked
  6. The social platform removed or hid the comment
  7. Your social account was blocked, limited, or unable to comment
  8. The verification flow was interrupted before completion
  9. The TaskPulse Task Verifier extension was not detected or could not verify the action

Why a comment may be removed or not counted

Even if you submit a comment, the social platform may later remove, hide, filter, or limit it.

This can happen because of the platform's own rules, spam filters, account limits, moderation systems, or content settings controlled by the content owner.

If the comment cannot be found or confirmed during verification, the task may not be paid.

For advertisers: make sure comments are available

If you create a comment campaign, make sure the target content allows comments before launching the campaign.

A comment campaign may fail or stop delivering if:

  1. Comments are disabled
  2. The comment section is limited to certain users
  3. The post, video, or page is private or deleted
  4. The platform blocks comments from some users or countries
  5. The target URL does not match the selected comment category

For freelancers: when to skip a comment task

You should skip or decline a comment task if:

  1. The comment section is closed
  2. The target content is unavailable
  3. Your account cannot comment on that platform
  4. The required comment conflicts with your beliefs, values, or local laws
  5. You are not comfortable publishing the provided comment
  6. You cannot complete the task exactly as requested

Skipping an unsuitable task is better than posting the wrong comment, posting in the wrong place, or trying to complete a task that cannot be verified.

For freelancers: how to reduce failed comment tasks

  1. Use a stable social account that is not restricted
  2. Make sure the TaskPulse Task Verifier extension is installed and detected
  3. Open the task only through TaskPulse
  4. Post the comment only on the required target
  5. Do not manually change the task URL
  6. Do not close the task flow before verification finishes
  7. Skip the task if comments are closed or unavailable

For advertisers: how to reduce rejected or failed comment campaigns

  1. Use a public target where comments are enabled
  2. Check that the content is not deleted, private, or restricted
  3. Choose the correct comment category for the target platform
  4. Avoid targets where comments are heavily moderated or hidden
  5. Use clear and acceptable comment text
  6. Do not ask freelancers to publish illegal, abusive, misleading, or unsafe content

Important takeaway

Comment tasks can be completed only when the required comment can be posted on the correct target and verified successfully.

If comments are closed, the target is unavailable, or you are not comfortable publishing the provided comment, skip the task and choose another one.

TaskPulse pays only for comment tasks that are completed correctly and confirmed by the verification flow.
