What happens to unused order budget?
In TaskPulse, campaigns do not use a separate reserved order budget.
Instead, campaign spending works in real time: your advertiser balance is charged only after a task is successfully completed and confirmed.
This means there is usually no separate “unused order budget” that needs to be returned after a campaign stops. Funds that are not spent simply remain in your advertiser balance.
How campaign spending works
TaskPulse does not reserve the full campaign amount when you launch an order.
Your advertiser balance is charged only when a valid completion happens. After the task is successfully completed and confirmed, the corresponding amount is charged from your advertiser balance and the freelancer receives the reward.
You are not charged for unfinished attempts, failed verification, or rejected results.
What limits control campaign delivery?
Since campaigns do not have a separate reserved budget, delivery is controlled mainly by:
- Your available advertiser balance
- Overall actions limit - the total number of completions the campaign can receive
- Daily actions limit - the maximum number of completions the campaign can receive per day
- Campaign status - active, paused, stopped, deleted, or completed
- Category and targeting settings
If your available advertiser balance is not enough to pay for new confirmed completions, the campaign may stop receiving delivery until you add more funds.
What happens when a campaign reaches its overall limit?
If your campaign reaches its overall actions limit, TaskPulse stops accepting new completions for that campaign.
Since no separate campaign budget was reserved, there is nothing special to refund. Any funds that were not used remain in your advertiser balance automatically.
What happens when a campaign reaches its daily limit?
If your campaign reaches its daily actions limit, delivery may pause until the limit resets.
Your advertiser balance is not locked while the campaign is waiting for the next delivery period. Funds remain available in your advertiser balance and are charged only when new actions are successfully completed and confirmed.
What happens if I pause or delete a campaign?
If you pause or delete a campaign, TaskPulse stops sending new completions to that campaign according to its status.
Because funds were not reserved in a separate campaign budget, unused funds remain in your advertiser balance.
Any already completed and confirmed actions remain paid. Unfinished attempts or failed completions are not charged.
What happens with Custom Tasks?
For Custom Tasks, freelancers submit their work for manual review.
The advertiser balance is charged only after a submitted task is accepted according to the campaign flow. If a submission is rejected or not accepted, it is not paid as a valid completion.
What happens with Social and Surfing campaigns?
For Social and Surfing campaigns, spending happens after successful completion and verification.
This may include verified social actions, completed website visits, video watching, or other supported campaign types.
If the action cannot be verified successfully, it is not counted as a paid completion.
Why does TaskPulse show estimated cost?
Some campaign creation screens may show an estimated cost or expected total based on your selected category, price per action, limits, and settings.
This estimate helps you understand the possible campaign cost. It does not mean that the full amount is reserved immediately when the campaign is created.
Can I use the same advertiser balance for other campaigns?
Yes. Your advertiser balance belongs to your account, not to one separate campaign budget.
If funds are not spent by one campaign, they remain available in your advertiser balance and can be used for other campaigns.
Simple example
Suppose your advertiser balance is $20.00 and you create a campaign where each confirmed action costs $0.10.
- If 30 actions are successfully completed and confirmed, $3.00 is charged from your advertiser balance.
- If the campaign then stops or reaches a limit, the remaining $17.00 stays in your advertiser balance.
- There is no separate unused campaign budget to return, because the full $20.00 was never reserved for that campaign.
Important takeaway
TaskPulse campaigns do not lock a separate order budget.
Your advertiser balance is charged in real time only after successful confirmed completions. Delivery is limited by your available balance, campaign limits, targeting, and campaign status.
If a campaign stops before spending more, the remaining funds stay in your advertiser balance automatically.
