How to create your first order

TaskPulse lets advertisers create campaigns and pay for completed actions from real freelancers.

To create your first order, start by choosing the right campaign type. TaskPulse has two main order groups for advertisers:

  1. Custom Tasks - tasks with manual completion review by the advertiser
  2. Social and Surfing Tasks - social actions, website visits, video views, and similar supported campaign types

1. Choose the right order type

Before creating a campaign, decide what kind of result you want.

Custom Tasks with manual review

Use Create Custom Task if you want freelancers to complete a task and submit a report or proof for your review.

This campaign type is useful for tasks such as sign-ups, reviews, app installs, website actions, or other custom instructions that need manual approval.

You can manage these campaigns here: Custom Tasks campaign list.

Social and Surfing Tasks

Use Create Social or Surfing Task if you want to create a supported social, website traffic, or viewing campaign.

This group includes campaign types such as:

  1. Social follows, likes, reposts, upvotes, comments, and subscriptions
  2. Website visits
  3. Video watching or viewing campaigns
  4. Other supported social or surfing categories

You can manage these campaigns here: Social and Surfing campaign list.

2. Open the campaign creation page

Open the page that matches the type of campaign you want to create:

  1. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/simple/new/ - create a Custom Task with manual review
  2. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/new/ - create a Social or Surfing Task

Some social and surfing categories may also be opened directly if you already know the category you want. For example:

  1. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/new/qw-ups
  2. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/new/ig-followers
  3. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/new/tw-retweets

3. Select a task category

The task category defines what freelancers will do.

For Custom Tasks, choose a category that best matches the type of manual task you want to create. For Social and Surfing Tasks, choose the supported platform and action type, such as a follow, like, upvote, repost, website visit, or video view.

Choosing the correct category is important. A wrong category may lead to poor results, failed checks, or a campaign that does not match your actual goal.

If you are not sure which category to choose, read How to choose the right category for your campaign .

4. Add the start URL

The start URL is the page where freelancers begin the task.

Depending on the campaign type, this may be:

  1. Your website or landing page
  2. A social media profile
  3. A post, comment, video, or other supported content
  4. A page where the freelancer needs to complete the required action

Make sure the URL is correct, public, and available. If the link is broken, private, blocked, or unsupported, the campaign may not work correctly.

5. Fill in the task details

The required details depend on the campaign type.

For Custom Tasks

Custom Tasks usually require more information because the advertiser reviews the freelancer's result manually.

You may need to provide:

  1. A short task title
  2. A clear task description
  3. Instructions explaining what the freelancer must do
  4. What the freelancer should write or submit in the report
  5. Completion time and review settings
  6. Reward per accepted completion

Be specific. If your instructions are unclear, freelancers may submit incorrect work, and you will spend more time reviewing or rejecting submissions.

For Social and Surfing Tasks

Social and Surfing Tasks are more standardized. After you choose the category and add the target URL, TaskPulse uses the selected category rules to show the task to eligible freelancers and verify supported completions.

For these campaigns, you usually need to set:

  1. The task category
  2. The target or start URL
  3. Optional country filters
  4. Optional daily or overall limits
  5. Performer rating settings, if available

6. Set limits and targeting

Campaign settings may let you control who can see your task and how fast it can be delivered.

Depending on the order type, you may be able to set:

  1. Overall actions limit - the total number of completions you want
  2. Daily actions limit - the maximum number of completions per day
  3. Allowed countries - show the campaign only to freelancers from selected countries
  4. Forbidden countries - hide the campaign from freelancers in selected countries
  5. Performer rating - limit visibility based on freelancer quality level, if available

If you are creating your first campaign, do not overcomplicate the settings. Start with a simple setup, test the result, and adjust limits later if needed.

7. Review the campaign cost

Before launching, check the campaign summary. It shows the price, system fee, and total cost per completed action or per task.

TaskPulse charges your advertising balance only after a task is successfully completed and confirmed. You do not pay for unfinished attempts or actions that fail verification.

Make sure your advertiser balance has enough funds for the campaign to receive completions.

8. Create the campaign

When everything looks correct, click Create Campaign.

After creation, the campaign may become available to eligible freelancers according to its category, limits, targeting, and current platform conditions.

You can manage your campaigns from the relevant campaign list:

  1. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/simple/ - Custom Tasks with manual review
  2. https://taskpul.se/campaigns/social-activities/ - Social and Surfing campaigns

Common mistakes to avoid

  1. Choosing the wrong task category for your goal
  2. Using a private, broken, or unsupported URL
  3. Writing unclear instructions for Custom Tasks
  4. Setting too narrow country filters for a first campaign
  5. Expecting instant delivery when the category depends on real freelancer availability
  6. Creating a Social or Surfing campaign when you actually need manual proof from the freelancer
